Are we Zoom fatigued or are we exhausted by one way streams of information and an absence of connection?
As an online course instructor, this question has been stumbling through my head a lot lately.
I see clients on telehealth, and occasionally host live online workshops and Zoom-based get togethers with long distance friends. Those connections are deep and effective. They give me energy rather than snatch it away.
So when I was pondering how to host a spring 2023 cohort of the online Yoga Anatomy Mentorship that I started running nearly 8 years ago, I knew that live learning was the way to go.
On demand and forever-access is great or whatnot.
But some of us work best with live events, start and stop times, calendars, accountability and deadlines. (Hello me! We are obligers, according to Gretchen Rubin).
Is that you?
My 10 week Yoga Anatomy Bootcamp may be just the fit.
Modeled after the ads I see for Coding Bootcamps, those who complete this program will have a new skill within 3 months.
- You’ll learn anatomy.
- You’ll learn how to apply it to asana.
- You’ll learn to differentiate between some of the nonsensical cues floating around in the yoga world and those that make sense.
- For those who run a yoga trainings, workshops, or series classes, this program will stimulate you with powerful ideas and knowledge.
- If you do not teach yoga, you are still welcome to join us for this dive deep on yoga anatomy.
Although I’ve given the program a brand new name and a different structure, bootcamp participants will be learning the same content taught in the mentorship, with the opportunity to uplevel to the ongoing live mentorship programs afterward.
Like with any new endeavor, I don’t know if this bootcamp will be a fit or a flop!
All I know is that I want connection again. “Face to face” — even on video — feels meaningful to me.
I’m excited.
I’ve got a LOT to share on these subjects, and I’m so thrilled to offer up this small group Yoga Anatomy Bootcamp, starting Tuesday Feb. 28th.
We meet weekly, and you’ll earn 25 CEUs for your participation.
I’ve got all the details of the bootcamp here.
